Post A: Week 6

Vocab:
Precisely: (Adjective):240:definitely or strictly stated, defined, or fixed.

Paraded:(Noun):241:a large public procession, usually including a marching band and often of a festive nature, held in honor of an anniversary, person, event, etc.
Qoutes:
" The most impostant testimony, the reason we're here, is the Medical Examiner's statement that a murder was committed. A man is dead. But, nowhere in the Medical Examiner's testimony does he indicate who was responsible for that murder. That is for you to determine. It is an awesome responsibility. It was testified that the gun belonged to the victi. So we can't trace gun ownership back to the murderer. What can we trace as to the guilt or innocence of my client, Steve Harmon?(245). This where the prosceution and they are techiqucally trying to get BoBo Evans and Mr. KIng guilty and so far it's working.
Figurative Language:
" So what do we have? We have a man who admits to being part of a robbery accusing another man. And why is he making these accusations? The prosecution would have you believe that bringing Mr. Evans, this "bobo" character, here, is the result of good police work, which gives what a greaat citizen he is. But isn't the truth of the matter that the only reason he's here is because the police have him on a criminal matter, and have offered him a deal if he comes here and implicates someone else? Isn't that the real story? This is a symbol because it's regarding towards the criminals.(239)
" Does it really surprise anyone that a man is capable of robbing a drugstore , and he has admitted to ding just that, who then sells the loot for the robberym and he has admitted to that, and who is caught with drugs, and he has admitted to that-then tries to get a lighter sentence bu testifying against another person? Isn't his character, if you can call it character, clear? Hasn't he proven by hsi own admisssion who he is? what he is? this is a symbol because it's also regarding to someone too.(239)
" What i submit to you, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, is that Mr.Evans made the mistake of sellign the cigarettes he stole during to robbery. Did he do the shooting? I don't kow. But naturally he says he didn't do it. If he he sat up there on the witness stand and said he didnt he shooting, he would never be offered the deal he got. The only way out for him is to lolok around and find somebody else to accuse? And that's precisley what he did. He could have picked anyone else in the neighborhood. Half of the young men of that group are either unemployed or underemplyoed. He happened to Mr. King. It is a Metaphor and it's regarding to someone and accusing them.
