Post A Week 3.......

Dear Steve,
Dude, there you go again saying that you don't want to live anymore, dude there is no point in saying that because your just throwing your life away and there is no point for that.
I know there is fights in jail every 24/7, but you can't do nothing about it you'll have to deal with because from what I've heard that's how life is in jail and your going to have deal with it.
You also have a mom and dad that love you....and your mother came to see you when you knew how painful it is for her to be in there knowing that her only oldest son is being convicted of murdering some guy when she knows your innocent and she praying you day and night.
So, do not be writing in your little journal saying that you want to kill your self because it's bad and it's sin because your just going to end your life when you know there are so many people that love you with all there hurt and image how your mom would feel knowing that her son killed him self because he couldn't take anymore that's just plain childish.

Week 2 Post A:

Dear Steve Harmon;
Hi, even though your in a trial right now and you hate the cells everything and thinking about ending your life what good is that going to do think about how your parents are going to take it. Don't you even care about there feelings but yours sometimes when I'm reading the book I think what is wrong with the 16 year old thinking about ending his and all I say is he being a selfish youngster and not thinking the right way. Yes; I agree with you that people in jail are idiots and do dumb stuff for each other and think of the dumbest things alive but hey you can't do nothing about it.
Until you prove your are innocent and also your rights as a black person. And telling those jurors that your are innocent not guilty until proven.
But, as long as this trial is going on don't think about ending your life.

"All they can do is put me in jail". He said."They can't touch my soul".(89)-It's a metaphor because it's regared and representing the character.
Quote:
"Steve it's going to be alright and you'll be home soon don't worry".(113)- I chose this Quote because in the begining of the book Steve Harmon has never bonded with his father and has never seen his father cry until now and Steve kind of feels sorry for his parents and what he's put them through.

And they have a trial and all Steve can do is sit still and all he can do is answer questions that are given to him. And that’s how far I am in the book and I am really enjoying and I love the author which is Walter Dean Myers.
